How do you guarantee that employees are safe to work with children?
The Department of Social Services requires that all licensed child care centers conduct background checks on all of their employees. Background checks include SLED/FBI, Central Registry Check, Health Assessment, and a TB Check.
How do you keep information confidential?
We have a confidentiality policy in place that both employees and parents sign. Our policy strictly protects children and families information. We have a zero tolerance policy if confidential information is inappropriately released.
Will teachers share information with parents about their child’s development?
We will schedule three parent-teacher conferences a year to stay on top of your child’s development, progress, and/or challenges. Parent’s will also have access to the ASQ-3 assessment tool online.
Do you accept drop-ins?
Drop-ins are welcome to attend based on daily and classroom availability. A notice must be provided by noon on the day prior to dropping in. The drop-in rate is $30.00 per day, per child.
Are tuition payments due weekly and what are the payment options?
Tuition payments are due on Mondays of each week. Parents are welcome to pay weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Payments can be made at the front office or online.
Payments for tuition, annual registration fee, and additional program activities can be made here at the academy or through our online Parent Portal. In the Parent Portal, families are able to update secure billing information, contact information, and child’s information.
Late Payment Fee:
Payments made after closing on Tuesdays are charged a $20.00 late payment fee which is applied at 9:00am on Wednesday morning. Children are not able to return the next week if tuition payments is not paid in full.
Payments submitted for the annual registration and tuition are not eligible for refunds. Field trips and enrichment programs are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
